The mouse sniffs clean air: Hawa Dawa at the “Door Opener Day” of the show “Sendung mit der Maus”

As part of the WDR campaign “Hallo Zukunft #mitdermaus” (Hello Future), Hawa Dawa opened the doors to Munich children and their accompanying persons who wanted to find out more about “clean air”. With around 30 children, the event was fully booked, and all mouse fans were able to inform themselves in detail about the questions about air pollution/air quality.

Better urban air quality does not need drastic measures – but a meaningful database for decisions

Hawa Dawa has been commissioned by Stadtwerke Mainz with an innovative and result-driven project: creating a sustainable data-based decision-making basis. Hawa Dawa will propose stepped measures to improve urban air quality based on their projected impact on air quality, applying data-based analyses, and forecasts. For this purpose, an intelligent infrastructure for collecting environmental and traffic data as well as a data platform for evaluation is established. Read more

Eco Routing becomes reality – the navigation device becomes sustainable

It sounds like a dream of the future if navigation systems could not only show the fastest route, but also the one with the least air pollution. Drivers would be exposed to fewer air pollutants and cities could breathe easier. This vision of the future is called eco-sensitive traffic management and its implementation in reality is currently being tested by Siemens Mobility GmbH together with the two Munich start-ups Thinxnet GmbH (ryd) and Hawa Hawa GmbH in a one-month field trial.
