Many cities and municipalities are currently moving forward towards digitalisation and transformation into community-oriented smart cities. The core challenge is to collect the data and manage it for strategic use in urban development. At the same time, a number of unresolved questions still need to be answered around the topics of data governance, data quality, data sovereignty, and law, which currently prevent an efficient and cross-organisational use of the data treasures.
The 4th Forum »Urban Data« offers participants insights into data science and data-oriented smart cities and gives an overview of urban data governance as a solution concept. In addition to expert presentations, the agenda includes practical exercises based on case studies as well as space for exchanging experiences.
Martin Montag, Head of Sales Public Sector, will participate and give a keynote speech.
