Data from satellites enable global coverage

Currently, more than 150 Earth-observation satellites are in orbit. They yield a daily data acquisition of over ten terabytes of information. Earth observation is a crucial resource for understanding and mitigating climate change and air pollution. Global coverage allows for insights for deliberately every spot and is a vital tool to identify effects on natural ecosystems.

Hawa Dawa has been leveraging earth observation data for years in the data insight products. We maintain a close relationship with ESA (European Space Agency) for sharing knowledge and developing new applications.
