Our environment and many ecosystems are heavily polluted by all kinds of contaminants. People are destroying the earth more and more every day, not thinking at all that this is our only earth.

In 2019, the UN decided to declare September 7 the “International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies”. With the Corona-related lockdown, images went around the world showing blue skies where visibility is otherwise severely restricted by polluted air.
