Air Quality +

Air quality is a complex issue. Measuring the levels of air pollutants is just a starting point. The final goal is to improve living conditions by fighting air pollution and climate change.

For fact-based decisions on the most appropriate actions, contextualised insights are necessary, which take into account the sources of air pollution, additional influencing factors (e.g. weather), and the actual impact and exposure, particularly on risk groups. Finally, possible countermeasures must also be evaluated based on needed vs. available resources and the expected outcome.

We have collected and categorised information along these topics to enhance the understanding of the complexity and to give examples.
