Prof. Dr. Ahrend & Hawa Dawa Expert Council

Prof. Dr Klaus-Michael Ahrend will be the first member of the newly constituted Hawa Dawa Expert Council to support the company’s further development as a data and infrastructure service provider in Germany and beyond.

Prof. Dr Klaus-Michael Ahrend has been a member of the Executive Board of HEAG Holding AG, Darmstadt, since 2008 with a turnover of approx. EUR 2 billion. He is a member of various supervisory bodies and advisory boards as well as in associations of the municipal economy. He is also the author of specialist and textbooks, managing director of the TECHNOLOGY and incubator centre HUB31, lecturer in energy economics and corporate governance and an honorary professor at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.

Prof Ahrend said: “I am very pleased to be part of Hawa Dawa. Air quality is a global challenge. To address this, methods and tools must be used in a new digital sustainability infrastructure, as offered by Hawa Dawa.”
