Hawa Dawa has been recognised with the “Digital Start-up of the Year 2020” award at the IFA in Berlin. The Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi) awards this prize annually to promising young digital companies from the BMWi start-up initiatives, which have already established themselves on the market. The award recognises start-ups who have implemented their founding ideas particularly successfully in a short time and are pursuing promising concepts for further growth.
The winners are selected with the support of an independent jury of experts from business and academia. The unique high position of the product and service portfolio, the growth prospects in the target markets, the under-performance in the implementation of the founding idea and the management potential for further successful company development were evaluated.
